Delivery

All items available on the website will be dispatched to the shipment service in 1-3 business days after receiving payment of the purchase. Individual special orders will be dispatched within the terms agreed upon with the client. 

Delivery within the territory of Latvia is carried out through DPD, Omniva and Latvian Post parcel lockers in accordance with the price list:

When receiving a package abroad, additional fees may occur. The buyer is responisble for paying any import or other fees. 

 

Terms of service

1. General information

On placing an order on aquillajewelry.lv, the user agrees to having read the Terms of service and being in agreement with them. When purchasing items online, terms of a distance contract apply to the purchase, including the terms of the European Parliament and Council directive 97/7/EEK, Republic of Latvia  “Consumer Rights protection Law” and Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts". The owner of aquillajewelry.lv is Beāte Orlova-Rotgalve, VAT reg. no. LV25099512226 (further on - the Seller).

2. Order and payment

An order is completed by the user choosing items from the internet store catalogue, adding them to cart and completing the online check out and payment process. The available forms of payment are Paypal and bank transfer. All payments are made in EUR. If the need arises to make changes to the order or to amend incorrect data, the user must without hesitation contact the Seller by writing to hello@aquillajewelry.lv, however, it must be taken into account that fulfillment of the order might already be complete.  After payment is successfully received, the user will receive a confirmation e-mail at the address they provided during check-out. The bill is sent electronically together with the confirmation of the order. 

3. Returning an order

In compliance with the Cabinet of Ministers "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts" , the user has the right to withdraw from the distance contract and the purchased items within the period of 14 days after receiving the shipment. In order to return the purchase, the user must contact the Seller by writing to hello@aquillajewelry.lv, where they will be provided with the neccessary return information. The user is responisble for covering return costs. The returned items must be in the same condition and packaging as when they were received by the user. Damaged and visibly used items are not eligible for return and reimbursment. Once the Seller receives the returned items and has made sure of their condition, the user will be reimbursed for the full cost of the item and original shipping fees. The money will be reimbursed to the users bank account within 10 working days. Special made orders (designed specifically for the client) cannot be returned. 

4. Material and usage of the items

Jewelry and accessories created by Aquilla Jewelry are made with such materials as cultivated freshwater pearls, gold filled brass, gold plated brass and sterling silver. Gold filled brass is considered to be a very durable material and a quality alternative to solid gold with no or minimal tarnishing. However, it is still reccommended to treat the items with care to ensure maximum longevity. It is advised to avoid contact of the jewellery with water, make-up and skincare products, cleaning products and other such items.  It is advised to store the jewellery in dark and dry conditions. Eventual tarnishing of gold plating is not to be considered a defect of production.

5. Warranty

All Aquilla Jewelry products are covered by a two year warranty. Free repairs in the case of a production defect and size corrections for bracelets and rings are available by writing to hello@aquillajewelry.lv.  The warranty does not apply to damage that has been caused by improper care and storage. 

6. Use of personal data

aquillajewelry.lv uses and stores personal data with the purpose of fulfilling orders placed on the website. For more information please refer to the Privacy policy. 

7. Resolution of disputes

All disputes between the user and Seller are to be resolved by mutual agreement of the involved parties. If mutual resolution is not possible, the dispute is to be resolved in accordance with the normative acts of the Republic of Latvia.
